Happy Friday, crafty friends! 

 It’s time for another fun challenge here at TGIF Challenges, and this week we’re bringing you a sketch challenge to spark your creativity. Sketches are such a great starting point—they give you a layout to build from while still leaving plenty of room to make it your own! Use the inspiration sketch as your guide and pull out your favorite products to bring the design to life. Maybe you’ll layer a beautiful Designer Series Paper in those tilted squares or add stamped images, maybe you won't use "squares" at all!!—there are so many ways to interpret this layout. We can’t wait to see how you make this sketch your own! Be sure to enter your project using the link at the end of the post for a chance to be our weekly challenge winner.

 Hello friends and welcome back to TGIF Challenges! 

This week we’re diving into a fresh Sketch Challenge, and this one is all about beautiful layers and a stunning focal image. The sketch features a tall, layered panel with a bold main element front and center, finished off with a sweet little sentiment banner—perfect for letting your favorite stamps, dies, or patterned papers shine. While it’s designed as a card, don’t stop there… this layout would be gorgeous as a scrapbook page, framed art, mini album cover, or even dressed up for handmade gift packaging. Flip it, rotate it, simplify it, or add extra texture—make it your own and let your creativity lead the way! We can’t wait to see what you create!

 Welcome back to TGIF Challenges, friends! We’re excited to dive into a brand new Sketch Challenge this week, and this one is clean, modern, and full of creative potential. 

The sketch features a bold central panel with a striking diagonal element, layered neatly on a larger background—perfect for showing off patterned paper, color blocking, or even a dramatic stamped or ink-blended design. You can keep the layout crisp and graphic or soften it up with texture, embellishments, and layers. This sketch works beautifully for cards, but it would also shine on a scrapbook page, a framed piece of décor, or even handmade packaging. However you choose to interpret it, we can’t wait to see how you make it your own!

Our sketch features three squares turned on the diagonal—giving off a playful, argyle-inspired vibe—with one layered front and center, just waiting to be the star of your design. You could fill the squares with Designer Series Paper for a pop of pattern, stamp a bold image to make it shine, or even swap the squares for die-cuts or punched shapes for a creative twist. Try adding a little texture with an embossing folder, or keep it clean and simple and let the sentiment area take center stage with a big, beautiful greeting.
