#TGIFC05 Remix!

Welcome back for a brand new challenge!! Thanks for sharing the great projects that were inspired by last week's image. Did you like that challenge? Well, we like feedback, so please do comment! Just in case you've been keeping track, we made it through a month of challenges!! As a big "Thank You" for your support, we will be giving away a prize pack worth over $25,000.00 to one of this week's challengers!! Oh wait...what's that, sweetie? We can't afford a $25,000.00 prize? Oh, you said $25.00? Ok, readers...The prize pack will be worth over $25.00!!! Still a sweet treat to win, right? This week we have ANOTHER brand new challenge series, so let me explain:

This will be our "Monthly Challenge Remix" week. Remember all of the cool challenges over the last few weeks? Well, pick TWO of them and create a challenge mashup! For example, combine the Sketch with the Color challenge, or make a Congrats Grad card using the sketch...get it? The combinations are infinite!! (ok, not really infinite, for all you mathies out there, but you get my point...) As a reminder, here are the challenges to pick from:

#TGIFC03 Theme - Congrats Grad

Welcome back for week Three!! Thanks for the awesome response on last week's sketch challenge. With nearly 50 entries, you sure made it difficult to pick a winner! In fact, we almost had a 3 way tie! But eventually after a long night of ~~intense arguments~~ friendly discussion, we were able to select a winner...and this week it is: Chantal de Kaste! Onto the challenge...

This week we have a theme-based challenge:

I've realized and learned a few things since having started being a part of this international group. First of all, "TGIF" doesn't translate well into other languages... Lol! I never thought about it before, but it makes perfect sense now...so for our international players, TGIF started from "Thank God It's Friday" but can be adapted in many ways; one of our favorites is "Thank Goodness It's Fun."

Now that I am more aware of potential translation situations, I am also thinking about cultural traditions. Because I cannot be too cautious, I would like to explain the theme for this week just in case there is a culture or language barrier... We are looking for projects that celebrates and/or congratulates a student that has finished their year/time at school. It can be for a child moving from grade to grade, a teenager finishing high school, a University Graduate, etc. Projects can range from a card to a gift card holder to a gift...hopefully this helps.
